Service Description

HeartCode® ACLS is the American Heart Association’s official blended learning format for Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support certification. Instead of spending two full days in a traditional classroom, healthcare providers complete self-paced online interactive simulations followed by an in-person, hands-on skills session. It is designed for clinical professionals who direct or participate in management of cardiopulmonary arrest or cardiovascular emergencies—such as physicians, emergency room nurses, ICU staff, paramedics, and anesthesiologists. Key Clinical Topics Covered ECG Rhythm Recognition: Identifying VF, pulseless VT, PEA, asystole, bradycardias, and tachycardias. Pharmacology: Correct administration timing and dosages for antiarrhythmics, vasopressors, and emergency medications. Airway & Equipment Management: Suctioning, bag-mask ventilation, advanced airway placement (LMA/ET tube), and manual defibrillation. Effective Team Dynamics: Leading or serving as an active team member during high-stress resuscitation (Megacodes). Post-Cardiac Arrest Care: Targeted temperature management and stabilizing hemodynamic stability following ROSC (Return of Spontaneous Circulation). **Online certificate needed in order to participate in the skills - check portion**
